  • Car Boot Market
    • In August 2012, Grey Lynn 2030 started another community project – a local car boot market. It’s held on the last Sunday of the month in the Grey Lynn RSC car park, 1 Francis Street in West Lynn Village.

The market is a place for anyone in who wants to to sell, swap or just give things away that they no longer need. The market is for second hand items only – no new stuff as we think there is already enough stuff on our planet!

Our monthly car boot market is a great local alternative to running your own garage sale, no advertising necessary (we take care of that), no strangers descending on your home and no need for the hassles with Trade Me. You can sell from a table, your car boot or from the ground (bring a mat) One price only – $20 per site.

The proceeds will go to support our community projects and costs of running Grey Lynn 2030 and the car boot sale.

A big shout out to the Grey Lynn RSC for the generous use of their car park. By the way, the RSC is a great place for an easy meal or a place to meet casually with friends.

      Booking a spot

If you are interested in taking a stall, please contact Florence Boyd on 027 260 4564 or email her on florenceboydnz@gmail.com

She will give you all the details you need.

The market opens for the stall holders at 7.30 a.m and to shoppers at 8.30 am. It runs until 11.30. To be sure you get a space please PRE BOOK and PAY IN ADVANCE for your spot. If you turn up on the day you can not be guaranteed a space. You don’t have to turn up super early your space is held for you.
