Coffee Cup Upcycling Workshop

February 15, 2020 @ 10:15 am - 12:30 pm

Excited to bring you FREE workshops to learn how to make a heat-band for a funky coffee cup.

Grey Lynn 2030 Waste Away, local schools and cafés as well as a number of organisations are partnering to help reduce the usage of single-use coffee cups in Grey Lynn. As part of this project we are making “Koha Jars” (upcycled coffee cups made from reused glass jars with heat-bands made from recycled fabric).

If you are concerned about waste, are a keen sewer, or know how to thread a needle and want to get involved in a super cool collective community project, come along and bring some empty, clean peanut butter or tahini etc. jars, and fabric if you have some. Lots of free material available 😊
REGISTER by emailing infogreylynn2030@gmail.com

Let us know if you can bring a sewing machine. Thanks!
