Grey Lynn Business success at the Sustainable Business Network Awards

Congratulations to all the winners at the Sustainable Business Network awards last night but in particular the Grey Lynn businesses that are leading the way.

The awards, which are now in their ninth year, are the pre-eminent sustainability awards in New Zealand. They recognise leaders in social innovation and businesses that are championing sustainability and new sustainable market solutions. The awards celebrate savvy organisations that are reshaping their business models for a more sustainable New Zealand.

  • Chris Morrison – Sustainability Champion (sponsored by Element magazine)

Grey Lynner and Founder of Phoenix Organics, Chris Morrison received the Sustainability Champion Award for his tireless work in sustainability organisations such as the New Zealand Biological Producers and Consumers Society (which operates the BioGro Organic Certification programme) and his contribution to multiple green companies as a founder and investor. Judges commented that Chris is a true pioneer who has demonstrated great resilience and endurance.
