Opportunities to meet us in person
On most Sunday mornings you will find representatives from Grey Lynn Waste Away at the local Grey Lynn Farmers Market. The Grey Lynn Waste Away group meets every third Thursday of the month. We are there to talk about waste and are keen to encourage people to try ways to limit their waste to landfill.

We promote the responsible practice of using worm farms or bokashi buckets to divert food waste from landfill. We also collect batteries, bras, egg cartons, cotton fabric, non-plastic/reusable bags, clean glass jars and warm clothing for former refugees. Come and check us out at the Grey Lynn Farmers Market.

We participate in events that promote and encourage waste minimisation such as the annual Zero Waste Hui or a recent Zero Waste talk by Bea Johnson that was organised by WasteMINZ.

We also organise film screenings called ‘Green Screen’ on a regular basis.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us!
