Keen on making some home brew or turning feijoas into wine? It’s actually easier than you think! The Grey Lynn Farmers Market will be running three courses in beer brewing, wine making and distillation.
June 10 – Beer making 11.15 am
June 17 – Distillation 11.15 am
July 1- Wine making 11.15 am
Classes are $10 each or $5 for Friends of the Market. Sign up today to secure your spot as places are limited.
Beer-making: covers the basics of beer making, from a simple beginnners beer to more variations such as playing with hops and making a wort.
Distillation: teaches you how to make an essense based spirit and a liqueur.
Wine making: this class will demonstrate a basic kit wine and also a fruit wine, made with feijoas.
