Local Government Waitemata

Transition Towns have a focus on Local Government. For Grey Lynn 2030, that means working with Auckland Council and Waitemata Local Board on community iniatitives that are important.

Pippa Coom, a founding member of Grey Lynn 2030 was elected to the Waitemata Local Board and then to Auckland Council. This fits with our vision as a Transition Town.
