Energy Resilience
Grey Lynn has focussed on energy since we began. Our first Energy Focus group started back in 2008.
In 2025, we joined Rewiring Aotearoa and formed Electrify Grey Lynn and Electrify Apartments. This brings national level support to our local initiatives.
We thank Auckland Council for the Climate Grant which enables us to do this work.

Electrify Grey Lynn is working with Rewiring Aotearoa. Electrify communities are well established in Australia. We are following the work of Dr Saul Griffith and experiences learnt by these groups.
Electrify Apartments, based in Auckland's City Centre focuses on retrofitting apartment buildings -to get off gas, become emergency resilient and to be able to charge electric vehicles
