Trading table new at the GL Farmers Market

New Trading Table this Sunday

This week the Grey Lynn Farmers Market will launch our first produce trading table.  Apart form the market manager putting up the table, this stall will be run by you!  Your very own road-side stall.

So bag, tag and sell your own produce.  The trading table is free to “friends of the market” (who pay an annual $30 sub) or $3 for casual users.  You can sell your homegrown veggies or fruit yourself at the table or swap your goods with other sellers! Encourage the children to play shopkeeper and make some pocket money!  Anything left on the table will be given away at the end of the market.

The trading table will be held under the Grey Lynn 2030 banner this week.  Any questions, call Charlotte on 027 3756143 or email

  1. Hi Charlotte. I have been a regular buyer of the fruit & produce at the Grey Lynn farmers market since its inception. I thank you so much for your involvement in providing the community with this service, you are amazing!!!. Recently a raw foods chef & I took over a vegan cafe in Crowhurst st, Newmarket which up until recently operated under a gift economy. Unfortunately the business wasnt sustainable, but we wanted to continue to provide high quality vegan food for those people who have allergies & need organic food for healing ailments. My big interest lies in healing & service to others.
I am looking for weekly supplies of seasonal fruit & vegetables for the cafe as I think it is special to be able to offer & tell people about where the produce derives from. You are welcome to come to the cafe for a free meal any time to discuss if you can help or you can call me on 811-8013. Many, many thanks.
